Совещание с разработчиками AutoCAD Electrical.

Компания НИП-Информатика участвовала в совещании с руководством подразделения Autodesk Systems Design. Совещание прошло 15 февраля 2012 г в московском офисе компании Autodesk и было посвящено вопросам развития AutoCAD Electrical и адаптации к отечественным стандартам. 

Во встрече участвовали: Shawn Gilmour (Director of Autodesk Systems Design), Michael Biwald (Product Manager for the Systems Design Group at Autodesk), Ramana Kumar Sandrana  (Senior User Experience Designer with the Systems Design Group at Autodesk). Со стороны компании НИП-Информатика в совещании участвовал технический директор Дмитрий Линский. 

На встрече обсуждались пожелания российских пользователей AutoCAD Electrical, в том числе улучшения касающиеся пользовательского интерфейса, российских стандартов, расширение функционала. Компания НИП-Информатика предоставила разработчиком  Autodesk детально проработанный документ с пожеланиями, включающий технические описания и иллюстрации. 

В результате совещания разработчики Autodesk приняли рекомендации включить в следующую версию AutoCAD Electrical: 

- Возможность ассоциативной связи проводов с компонентами на схеме (тянущиеся провода)

- Включение в стандартную поставку российских УГО и отчетов (перечень элементов, спецификация, таблица соединений, кабельный журнал)

- Возможность трассировки и подсчета длин проводов для компоновочных чертежей (монтажных панелей)

- Другие рекомендации и улучшения.

Shawn Gilmour is the director of Autodesk Systems Design business as part of the AutoCAD Product Team at Autodesk Inc.  Shawn primary focus is the business and product strategy for integrating schematic’s design with 3D systems design software empowering customers to be more competitive with integrated design processes. Shawn began his Autodesk career in 1993 as an AE manager at Autodesk Canada. With more than 22 years’ experience in the CAD software industry, Shawn brings a broad range of marketing, product strategy, and leadership experience to the business, enabling him to be successful in positions ranging from Applications Engineer to the Director of Product Management for AutoCAD, to business leader for the Systems Design team. 

Shawn received his education in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.  Shawn loves mountain biking, road biking and cyclocross racing as well as a passion for tinkering with cars. 

Michael Biwaldis a Product Manager for the Systems Design Group at Autodesk. The focus of his role is to support the developmentof Autodesk’s systems design software products. Michael began his career in 1990 with one of the market leading Electrical CAD Companies (EPLAN) in Germany. He received his education in Electrical Engineering from the Staatliche Technikerschule in Essen, Germany. Michael worked in Global Support, Consulting, Pre-Sales, Marketing and Product Management. During this time he visited more than 50 countries and lived in Singapore and Australia. Michael joined Autodesk on Sept 13, 2010 and works from the Lake Oswego office. In his free time he enjoys Martial Arts, Kite-surfing and Snowboarding.

Ramana Kumar Sandrana is a Senior User Experience Designer with the Systems Design Group at Autodesk. In his current role he is responsible for researching, designing and validating workflows and features for Autodesk’s systems design software products. He is an Electrical engineer with 15+ years of Industry experience in Design, Industrial Automation and Presales.

Ramana works from the Singapore office of Autodesk. In his free time he likes to travel to new places and manage technical forums.
